High Street Fashion

If you are a Londoner and a fashion lover, high street fashion is obviously one of your priority.

High street fashion means the clothes you can buy on a typical high street in the UK. These include clothes from high street brands that are made in large quantities, are affordable, and aren't very event-specific.

Lets dive into some of the finest High Street Brands in UK.

Reiss

Reiss is known for its affordable, well-fitted pieces and designs made with high-quality materials.
Even though Reiss is a British brand, their blazers look like those made in Italy. This has helped them build a good reputation over the years.

You can go here for quality separates and basics that are perfect for a classic capsule wardrobe.

Zara

With a growing movement against fast fashion and in favour of sustainable clothing options and brands, Zara has changed how they make their clothes to use better materials, which has caused their prices to go up over the last few years.

A Limited Edition piece from Zara is a good choice because it's a well-known brand that we've all bought from and has a good return policy and multiple locations.

I like cotton and linen clothes, so it's nice to see more of those in the Zara catalogue.

Just type "limited edition" into the search box to see all of their better options.

Ralph Lauren

So, this is the place to get blazers (my favorite), shirts (please choose small logos), and linen pieces, in my opinion. If you like the preppy look, this brand is a no-brainer that you can add to your wardrobe for a reasonable price.

The logos are there, but they are not flashy or in your face.
It's good quality, but it doesn't follow trends like some "super brands" do. This means that the styles aren't as time-sensitive and can be worn with ease across decades.

H&M

H&M is the second largest retailer in the world and one of the most influential voices on the high street when it comes to ethics and sustainability in fashion.

H&M is a brand of fast fashion. The way they make money depends on us buying more clothes more often.

Depending on your budget, how easy it is to get to, and what sizes are available, it may be best to shop on the high street. Not everyone has the kind of extra money that lets them buy clothes from Fendi and Prada. But shopping on the high street doesn't mean you have to give up style or high-quality fabrics. There are a lot of great brands out there that make pieces that are well-fitted and made of durable materials.
